ABOUT US

Since 2005, we’ve been helping companies of all sizes implement Salesforce in order to achieve competitive advantage.

Companies who chose to use Salesforce have built a solid business case but sometimes find it challenging to identify where they should focus  their efforts.

Our TIMWOODS methodology is based  on Lean Six Sigma  which is widely used in improving manufacturing processes and  can be equally well applied to Revenue Generation and thus provides the necessary focus.

Who is Tim Woods?
If Tim Woods is in your business, you don't want him there.   He wastes time, duplicates work, causes delays, and lets skills go unused. You want to get rid of him? First let's understand him better.

TIMWOODS is an acronym used in Lean methodology to identify and eliminate the eight common types of waste in processes. Each letter represents a specific type of waste:

T – Transitions. (Wasted effort in handovers. E.g. Marketing passes leads to Sales without context.)

I – In-Progress. Work (Too much work-in-progress. E.g. Reps juggling more leads than they can follow up.)

M – Movement. (Unnecessary actions. E.g. Attending meetings with no clear outcome.)

W – Waiting. (Idle time in workflows. E.g. Deals stalled waiting on approvals.)

O – Overproduction. (Creating more than needed. E.g. Generating leads that Sales can’t handle.)

O – Overprocessing. (Doing more than necessary. E.g. Manually re-entering data in multiple tools.)

D – Defects. (Errors that cause rework. E.g. Quotes sent with wrong pricing.)

S – Skills. (Underused talent. E.g. Specialists doing admin instead of strategic work.)

At TIMWOODS Consulting, we know how to spot him, stop him, and streamline your operations.
